PARSIPPANY, NJ (April 10, 2012) — The Registry Collection® program, the world’s largest luxury exchange network, has announced a new servicing agreement to manage the Baha Mar Residence Club in the Bahamas, adding Baha Mar’s elite residences to the program’s global network of luxury resorts. This collection of distinctive properties is located within Baha Mar, a $3.5 billion luxury resort project, scheduled to open in late 2014 on the pristine beachfront of The Bahamian Riviera in Nassau.
The Baha Mar Residence Club offers more than 300 luxurious residences and villas managed by such world-class brands as Rosewood, Mondrian, and Grand Hyatt, as well as The Baha Mar Casino and Hotel. The Registry Collection will provide marketing support during the pre-sales phase and will offer Baha Mar Residence Club owners the ability to enjoy a wide range of luxury travel options even before the residences are completed.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be affiliated with the Baha Mar Residence Club and its lineup of world-class luxury brands,” said Gregg Anderson, global vice president, The Registry Collection. “With such an impressive presence in the Caribbean, we know our members will be excited to use their membership benefits for an opportunity to vacation in this truly one of a kind Bahamian experience.”
In addition to properties by some of the leading brands in hospitality, Baha Mar will include a 100,000 square foot Vegas-style casino, the largest in the Caribbean, 200,000 square feet of state-of-the-art convention and meeting facilities, 20 acres of an exquisitely landscaped beach and pool experience authentic to the region, three world-class spas, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and over 200,000 square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Situated on 1,000 acres and abutting more than a half mile of uninterrupted white sand beaches, Baha Mar also has plans to include a show lake created by WET Design, featuring majestic water fountains dancing to unforgettable choreographies.
“The Baha Mar Residence Club can now offer owners of our branded, luxury residences a unique opportunity to enjoy exciting travel experiences around the world at any of The Registry Collection’s fine affiliated resort properties,” said Richard English, senior vice president of Residential Sales & Marketing at Baha Mar. “Our Residence Club has so many usage options for owners, from staying at iconic hotel and resort properties around the world, to enjoying adventure travel excursions, such as safaris in Africa, excursions to the Amazon, elephant trips in India, golf at St. Andrews and so much more. That is why we needed an experienced partner who could provide the highest level of operational and management services to our owners, so The Registry Collection was an obvious choice.”
