Digital Member Kit Apps for Web, Tablets, Smartphones Now Available for Online Demonstrations
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Nov. 6, 2012) — They’re hidden away in closets and under coffee tables. Many end up in the dreaded “round file.” The end isn’t pretty for most member kits, which typically cost shared-ownership clubs $80 to $100 each. That’s why Brand Tango, a marketing, technology and design solutions provider, is introducing private-branded mobile applications for tablets and smartphones that create an immersive member experiences through 1080p HD video, live chat, touch-screen functionality and an intuitive user interface.

In early 2013, Sirenis Hotels and Resorts will debut the Brand Tango digital member kits for its Premium Travel Club members and present elite-level buyers with customized iPad tablets upon purchase. “We want to maintain a close connection with our members,” says Antonio Riera, general manager, Caribbean, for the Ibiza, Spain-based hospitality company. “With these new member apps for smart phones and tablets, our club will be literally in their pockets year-round. It makes everything very easy for members; we are confident this will be a huge hit.”
During the sales process, Sirenis representatives will make their presentation using iPads, electronically sign all required documents on the device, and then present new Platinum- and Gold-level members with the iPad to take home. All Sirenis buyers will have access to the Sirenis-branded mobile app for iPad, iPhone and Android devices.
“We have created unique packaging and content for tablet devices that keeps new members’ excitement alive even after they leave the resort,” Kluetz says. “This will reduce rescissions, while addressing many of the marketing challenges faced by developers. For those that don’t get an iPad at closing, you’re still communicating with them via a device they already own and use.”
The final piece of the electronic owner kit is the new website, which includes much more functionality than a traditional printed kit.
“The entire product suite gives developers the power to communicate directly with their owners, with more control and flexibility,” says Larry Talley, vice president of technology for Brand Tango. “They can offer incentives to go on vacation during a certain time of year, update in real time, and collect payments with one-click payment processing. It puts them in whole different league.”
The product suite is powered by Brand Tango’s proprietary Tango CRM system (GetTango.com). “We can track travel preferences and communicate with owners according to their wishes and travel patterns,” Talley says. “Now, when your members are interested in spa, you can offer spa vacations. When they research Orlando theme parks, you can offer Orlando resorts. It’s a very powerful tool.”
The economics of using a website along with mobile technology also make this a smart move for developers. “Developers often underestimate the cost of developing an owners’ kit,” Kluetz says. “When it’s done in-house, companies often don’t calculate the labor costs, and then the kits cost from $60 to $100 or more to print. The electronic kits can be continually updated, which also represents tremendous cost savings.”
