El Cid Vacations Club released some travel tips to help people save time, allowing them to relax more, and reduce their stress levels faster.
San Diego, CA (May 3, 2013) — El Cid Vacations Club is no stranger to tropical vacations. As one of the leading vacation clubs in Mexico, they have revealed a number of their tips that serve to benefit the time-savvy traveler. As far as packing goes, planning for a tropical vacation require very little packing. With the warmer weather there is no need to pack heavy clothing or multiple layers, and less clothing equals less to pack. If the vacation is just a couple days, a traveler could easily fit a trip’s worth of attire, in one carry-on bag. The less baggage that is brought, the less time travelers will need to spend unloading them, and the more time they can relax.
The warmer climate is friendly to numerous types of animals, but unfortunately some of these include mosquitoes. El Cid Vacation Club recommends bringing bug-spray that travelers know they can cope with. There are a few compounds utilized in bug-spray in other countries that are banished in the United States, because they may cause allergic reactions. Armed with this knowledge, it is better to use something travelers know to be tolerable, rather than risk a possibly vacation-ruining experience.
El Cid Vacations Club suggests that vacation goers plan in advance and research their destinations to find out if there are any traveler’s fees on top of the passport fees. While usually small prices, these travel fees can hinder a day of plans, if a person is not prepared to pay them. Keep some money with passports to have handy, if these fees come about.
El Cid Vacations Club recommends vacationers to not bring camouflage patterned clothing, as it is forbidden in some tropical locations. Considering the humidity that will be present, it would be wise to pack additional swimsuits as they might not dry out in one night. While bathing suits are acceptable at the beach, consider the locals when going into inhabited areas. Do not expect the locals to be pleased if they see tourists in bathing suits, trotting by their churches.
