May 10, 2013 — It is well known that since the Great Recession began towards the end of 2007 and by the time it was in full swing (2008) not only did sales in our industry plummet by 50-60% the rank & file of sales, marketing, management and administrative personnel fell proportionally as well – however recently some timeshare developers are reporting an increase in net sales volume, they are growing and they are also hiring new staff members.
So here’s the scoop: Interestingly, during what was arguably the ‘crest’ of that Great Recession in 2009 — and with no shortage of advisors warning our company not to start a new up-to-the-minute online news and information service dedicated exclusively to the vacation ownership industry — we tossed our fate to the wind and launched ‘Inside The Gate’ – a JAM Publishing LLC entity.
When we did so and with no great fanfare we began publishing – six days a week – timeshare developer Press Releases (PR’s), ancillary company PR’s, breaking industry news stories, original content articles written exclusively for our publication plus what was to become our very popular ‘GateHouse’ timeshare blog section.
Plus we archived (searchable) every developer/company PR, every breaking news story, every column, etc. that we’ve published over the past 5 years and all that content is available free of charge for all readers interested in a specific company, a developer, an individual, an industry topic, etc. simply by using our ‘search’ (feature).
From our humble beginnings and based on an independent verification service (AWStats Analytics) that monitors ‘Inside The Gate’ I am proud to announce that since we began in 2009 we’ve had our best month (April, 2013) ever and approximately 35,000 readers have come to depend on ‘Inside The Gate’ as a primary online daily timeshare news and information service!
For those readers who are new to my weekly ‘Scoop’ piece (sometimes a rant) or ‘Inside The Gate’ for that matter, our readership is comprised primarily of timeshare developers, timeshare executives, senior level management and sales and marketing personnel at all levels (worldwide). We are also gaining interest among timeshare owners as well.
I bring all this to the forefront today because recently Bill Curtis, our Senior Accounts manager has introduced a new program for all companies seeking to promote their career opportunities, products or services etc. to the worldwide timeshare community with our “Maximum Exposure – Limited Space – Guaranteed Visibility!” formula.
And the secret to our modus operandi is that although as an industry we have a ways to go before we realize the sales volume (and personnel) we once experienced, our publication has achieved near and/or full ‘market saturation’ because unlike most stagnate timeshare industry news sources or publications, etc. our content is current, fresh and published, come rain, hail sleet or snow – six days a week.
So if your company is looking for a reliable and cost effective opportunity to reach out and hire the best talent in the industry or if you have a product or service you want in front of the ‘deciders’ then follow the two links below for more information.
You can also just e-mail Bill (email@example.com) and request that he e-mail you our 2013 Media Kit for further details (and don’t forget to ask Bill how to promote your opportunity free of charge)!
