Phoenix, AZ (July 12, 2013) — Dial An Exchange (DAE), the world’s largest independently owned vacation exchange company, has been selected by Royal Aloha Vacation Club (RAVC) of Honolulu, Hawaii, to provide a new vacation exchange benefit for its more than 9,000 members.
“Our relationship with DAE is very exciting,” says RAVC HOA President Dave DiBernardino, “because it enables us to continue to provide high standards of excellence our members have come to expect while at the same time seeking new opportunities to enhance their vacation exchange options.”
He continues, “After hearing high praise from our members already using DAE to service their exchanges, It seemed natural to jump on the DAE bandwagon. Now we can let all of our members know there is a choice out there in exchange services for our new and long-time owners.”
Founded in 1977, Royal Aloha Vacation Club is one of the oldest independent Timeshare clubs in the U.S. and was the first vacation club to register in the State of Hawaii. A pioneer in the timeshare industry, the member-owned and managed club started out with a few units in Waikiki and expanded to over 200 units in nine locations including Kona and Maui, Hawaii; Neuva Andalucia, Spain; Lake Tahoe, Nevada; Otter Creek, Oregon; Branson, Missouri; Chandler, Arizona; and Acapulco, Mexico.
“We are delighted about RAVC’s decision to introduce us to their entire membership,” says Susan Friedline, Director, Business Development for Dial An Exchange. “It’s great to hear excellent feedback from our members, and when a resort wants to add value to their ownership, we’re a great solution. As our industry matures, it is becoming more critical to add choice, innovative solutions and personalized service to satisfy the changing needs of today’s vacation owners. We are dedicated to fulfilling these needs by creating new services and products to resolve industry challenges.”
For the past several years, DAE has been working diligently with homeowners’ associations, management companies and resellers to ensure that vacation exchange remains a healthy and robust value proposition. By offering a free membership option, three-year credits against deposited weeks, and a simple, personal approach to servicing their members DAE has focused on adding value to existing ownership.
DAE is currently working indirectly with thousands of resorts worldwide. Because DAE does not employ a typical affiliation model, consumers are free to utilize their services to conduct a direct exchange. With eleven offices worldwide and almost half a million members, DAE has enjoyed dramatic growth within the vacation ownership industry. As a new generation of owners and a new secondary market becomes available, providing choices, options and excellent service means more to the success of the industry than ever before.
DAE has grown significantly since it first opened its doors in 1997. A strong focus on quality customer service has led to their continued growth as over 50% of their new memberships have been the result of personal referrals. Today, the company services over one million timeshare owners (including 450,000 direct members) at resorts and clubs through eleven offices worldwide, and has become a truly viable option for all timeshare owners to exchange their weeks or points products. Today DAE is the world’s largest privately owned timeshare exchange provider with worldwide destination availability, an extensive network of corporate customers, and a reputation for quality service earning and maintaining an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
