Baar, Switzerland (August 9, 2013) — Hapimag, the leading company offering rights of residence in Europe, is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary. The company has therefore thought up something special for its 140 000 members: Under the motto “Experiencing more together”, six cyclists are being sent on an exciting journey along five “Hapimag routes” throughout Europe.
57 Hapimag resorts and residences provide members with countless opportunities to organise their own holidays and leisure time. Individual experiences in various countries and cultures – A guarantee for exciting holidays. In order to bring the various “Hapimag worlds” closer to the members, Hapimag has come up with something very special for the anniversary year: Six cyclists are taking the community on a virtual journey of adventure along five routes right across Europe. The cyclists are getting to know the countries and people, visiting attractions and Hapimag resorts – and reporting each day in blogs and videos on their personal experiences and encounters. On a live map, anyone interested can see where the cyclists are at all times. After a tour of several weeks and around 20 000 kilometres on the saddle, the “Cyclists on Tour” will arrive at the Hapimag headquarters in Baar on Hapimag’s anniversary, 24 September 2013.
20 countries and 5 themes
Finland, Turkey, Morocco, Scotland and Hungary — these are the countries in which the cyclists have set off. Each route has its own special theme: Nadine Kuijper is cycling from Punkaharju to Baar and looking at the theme of “worlds of style”. Reto Berner is dedicating his tour to the theme of “women’s worlds” in Turkey, Greece and Italy. Thomas Wetzlmaier is immersing himself in “dream worlds” between Morocco and Switzerland, while Jürgen Müller is exploring “hidden worlds” between Edinburgh and Baar”. “Water worlds” is the fifth and final theme, to which Paola and Igel Zimmermann are dedicating their trip from Budapest to Baar.
