Naples, FL (August 28, 2013) — After nearly three years at the helm of fine furnishings retailer Clive Daniel Home (www.CliveDanielHome.com), President and CEO Daniel Lubner believes the Southwest Florida area is a powder keg ready to explode with new opportunities in the building and housing industries.
“To take advantage of these improving conditions and support our increasing business development efforts, we have taken an unconventional approach to external marketing through the creation of an aggressive three-tiered marketing team, each with its own specialty. We feel the changing business environment justifies these additional positions. Having these staffers on board and refocused will enable us to host more special events and strengthen our partnerships with organizations like the Collier Building Industry Association, the Naples Area Board of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.”
The new Clive Daniel Home marketing directors of Carla Channell, Jo Carter and Lyndsey Geis will focus on Realtors, builders, and special events.
As Director of Realtor Development, Carla Channell will lead Clive Daniel Home’s Realtor outreach program. This involves enhancing her already solid relationships within the Realtor community. On the Clive Daniel Home staff for about six months, she has been involved professionally in the SW Florida real estate scene for over a decade. A licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate, Carla has extensive experience in sales and assisting sales teams, beginning with the WCI tower Division in 2003, including The Trieste, Seasons and the Estates at Bay Colony. After Trieste sold out, she moved on to sales at Bonita Bay with the Lutgert Luxury Towers. She also assisted Premier Sotheby’s Mercato sales staff for nearly four years. As a former Broker Liaison for Tuscany Reserve (now Talis Park) she has a depth of knowledge about the lifestyle that accompanies the two Clive Daniel Home models there that are available for viewing by Realtors at any time.
A newcomer to Clive Daniel Home, Jo Carter is Director of builder development, responsible for model merchandising, plumbing fixture sales, and business development for the Lubner Group, the company’s hospitality division.
For the past nine years, she has served in increasing positions of responsibility and leadership with Hamilton Parker Company, a building supply company specializing in garage doors, fireplaces and brick. She directed Customer Service, Showroom Sales, and was Territory Account Manager ultimately helping the company expand from Ohio to Florida. She has worked extensively with builders and architects, successfully integrating construction into design and growing market share for her company. Working with Daniel Lubner, she will reach out to area builders and hospitality properties to include hotels, resorts, country clubs and commercial businesses, which will benefit from design renovations and improvements. She looks forward to representing Clive Daniel Home with the CBIA and building many new relationships within the community.
The third member of the Clive Daniel Home marketing trio is Lyndsey Geis, Director of Events, responsible for community outreach, in-store seminars and special events. Serving with the furnishings retailer for about 18 months, Lyndsey works directly with designers for presentations to outside communities, groups and organizations. She coordinates, plans, and manages all events in the showroom internally and with outside businesses and charities. Events may range from ten to 1,000 guests, often requiring her to utilize contacts and donations to obtain funding to make them happen. She is the “behind-the-scenes” gal on top of every detail that needs to be covered and executed. Another major responsibility for this high-energy young lady is entering scores of annual award competitions and remaining alert to marketing opportunities to promote Clive Daniel Home. Lyndsey also serves as the store’s key liaison with charities and sponsoring upcoming events in SW Florida.
