Carney has put together a top-notch team of established industry experts to lead the company into a new era of growth, starting with the highly anticipated Grand Residences Riviera Cancun, which debuted earlier this week.
Executive Spotlight: Chief Sales Officer Bill Caswell
Bill Caswell has joined the executive team at Royal Resorts to lead sales efforts and the newly introduced Royal Resorts Signature Club. As Chief Sales Officer, Caswell’s responsibilities will encompass Grand Residences, the company’s first deluxe all-suite resort in Riviera Cancun, Mexico, as well as the rest of the Royal Resorts properties. This all-new exclusive hideaway features 103 spacious ocean-view suites, expansive living areas and open-air terraces for dining alfresco.
With more than 25 years of experience, Caswell brings together a unique blend of business expertise from his varied management career including hospitality management, consumer sales psychology, sales and marketing operations and financial management. Prior to joining Royal Resorts, Caswell served as vice president of client services for Generator Systems. Before that, he spent 10 years leading sales operations at Shell Vacations, LLC. Caswell earned his Bachelor of Arts in recreation with an emphasis in travel and tourism from California State University in Long Beach in addition to a hospitality management certificate from Cornell University.
Once joining Royal Resorts, Caswell quickly reengineered the sales organization and undertook the marketing organization as well. In addition, he introduced interactive sales system Generator Systems to enhance sales performance for the company. Caswell was also integral in bringing well-recognized sales veterans Crawford-Welch and White on board to complete the company’s accomplished sales and marketing team.
