Branson, MO (February 5, 2014) — Independent timeshare sales and marketing experts Compass Resort Group celebrated their sixth year of reviving sales efforts in more mature properties by signing a new deal with Kimberling Inn on the outskirts of Branson, Missouri.
“This past year we started work on four other resorts,” says Compass President Jay C. Finley III, RRP. “Our specialty is helping HOAs and managing entities save failing legacy resorts by creating an effective sales and marketing structure.”
Finley indicated Compass continues to seek other opportunities. “We have the resources to handle several more resorts,” he says. “We are interested in partnering with mature resorts with available excess inventory. Our objective is to bring value to both the consumer and our resort client by selling a fun, flexible and affordable timeshare product while obtaining a fair and equitable price for our resort clients and their homeowner associations.”
“The procedure is to have an applicant resort fill out our proprietary questionnaire, after which my partner Chuck Frey and I will fly out to the project on our own nickel. We then interview everyone involved – developers, HOA Boards, management companies – in order to assess the resort’s viability and to make recommendations.
“We’ve not extended offers to every resort we’ve reviewed. The location, the structure of ownership, the underlying entity must meet certain standards. The project has got to be salvageable. Our services are free, so this should be a call to action. We travel on our own dime; just give us accommodations for the night. We operate from coast to coast and have been able to revitalize 15 resorts during the last six years.”
Finley’s philosophy in marketing is to stick to the basics. “Your resort’s owner base can be upgraded because there is so much value for them. They are more flexible and given today’s ability to take advantage of last-minute deals, they can parlay their one or two weeks into much more vacation time. And happy owners are fees-paying owners; pure and simple.”
