CARBONDALE, CO (October 13, 2015) — Colorado-based Timbers Resorts, one of the largest independent developers and operators of private boutique resorts and residence clubs, has completed a significant $8 million refresh of Timbers Bachelor Gulch, just in time for the 2015 winter ski season. The extensive remodel comes on the heels of the company’s acquisition of the iconic slope side Beaver Creek residence club and marks the next chapter for the property as it continues to inherit the high-quality culture, service and hospitality characteristic of all Timbers Resorts properties.
“We are thrilled to bring this timeless property to a new level and create an inviting atmosphere that makes Owners feel as warmly welcomed in common gathering spaces as their own residences,” said David Burden, Founder and Executive Chairman of Timbers Resorts. “No other property in the Beaver Creek area delivers as much value as Timbers Bachelor Gulch. We are excited to now have top-tier interior design that matches the first-class personal service and benefits our Owners have come to expect.”
Offering 54 two- and three-bedroom residences, Timbers Bachelor Gulch provides a private club experience with services and amenities of a 5-star resort, including direct access to three iconic ski mountains, in-house ski valets, inclusive full-day lift tickets, twice-daily housekeeping, pre-arrival grocery shopping and private shuttle service. Owners are also granted access to the renowned Bachelor Gulch Club and receive preferred and discounted access to many local golf courses.
The newly renovated residences deliver an exciting new twist on traditional mountain living. Timbers Bachelor Gulch now embraces the rustic elegance of ‘parkitecture’, a design concept inspired by rich mountain heritage that incorporates log balconies, hand crafted furniture, as well as leather and copper accents. The property received a vibrant new color palate during the renovation program, custom furnishings and art, as well as elevated finishes and fixtures.
New amenities at Timbers Bachelor Gulch include a Family Game Room with a billiards table, family Wii console, shuffleboard, foosball and games; a Tykes Playroom stocked with toys, games, crafts and a stage for performances; a state-of-the-art fitness center; a new wine room with temperature controlled storage for Owners; and updates to other gathering spaces including a bar, library and outdoor fire pits. The Great Room was also fully renovated to encourage Owners and guests to socialize in one space.
The new interiors were conceptualized and designed by the Timbers Resorts Design & Interiors team led by Sandy Burden in collaboration with Wilson Associates of Dallas, Texas.
