esort Travel & Xchange; the premier vacation ownership exchange company announced the winners of its photo contest last month. The RTX Photo Contest, which takes place every quarter is a chance for RTX members to flex their photography skills while staying at fabulous properties in RTX’s extensive network.
Both the winning photo and the runner up were captured in Hawaii; proving that one of the most popular paradise escape destinations is extremely photogenic. RTX member, Christine Latona took home the honor of first place with her stunning action shot titled “Mama and Baby Spinner Dolphin” which was taken at Vacation Internationale in Papakea, Maui, Hawaii. For winning the contest, Christine received a week at the RTX resort of her choosing. The runner up photo titled, “Perfect Morning in Paradise” features an early morning double rainbow over the beach. It was snapped by Brenda Good Welborn who won a free exchange with RTX.
Previous winners of RTX’s Photo Contest include Andrew Holden for his image of cliff divers in Mexico, Holly Kern for her heartwarming photo of a baby sea turtle heading out to the ocean for the first time at Orange Beach, Alabama, and Paul Rhodeman Jr. for his family photo while on his vacation at The Cabins at Green Mountain in Branson, Missouri.
“Our goal at RTX is to help our members travel, and in doing so hopefully providing lifelong memories as well as experiences. The photo contest was created to help promote more direct interaction with our members and while it has done just that, I believe it has done an even better job of showing us a little more purpose when we show up to work each day,” said Justin Hunter, vice president of resort operations for RTX.
Even though RTX has over 80,000 members worldwide, the company treats everyone like family and constantly strives to provide the best customer service possible by offering low fees on flexible exchanges, up to four years of deposit length, and other traveler perks. Through the company’s Charitable Giving plan and its member contests, RTX continues to prove that it puts people first.
